Empowering social organizations to achieve lasting change.
LegacyCompact was born from a decade of working in and alongside social sector organizations. Our founders watched brilliant, passionate organizations struggle with basic technology challenges — collecting data in spreadsheets that could not scale, writing impact reports that took weeks of manual effort, and losing institutional knowledge when staff turned over.
Meanwhile, commercial software companies were selling the social sector generic enterprise tools that were expensive, complicated, and designed for the wrong use cases. The sector needed purpose-built tools that understood how social programs actually work.
We built LegacyCompact to fill that gap. Today, over 5,000 organizations use our platform to manage their programs, measure their impact, and demonstrate their value to funders and the communities they serve. With $4.8M in Seed funding from Bethnal Green Ventures, we are accelerating our mission globally.
The principles driving LegacyCompact's approach to social impact technology.
We are a technology company fully committed to the social sector. Our business success is measured by the social outcomes our customers achieve, not just by our revenue growth.
Social impact technology must be accessible to organizations of all sizes and budgets. Our pricing is designed to ensure that smaller organizations are not priced out of quality tools.
We build tools that support rigorous impact measurement — not tools that make it easy to tell good stories about questionable evidence. Credible impact data serves the sector better than impressive claims.
The social sector learns and improves through shared practice. LegacyCompact facilitates peer learning, knowledge sharing, and cross-organizational collaboration as well as individual organization effectiveness.
Social programs work with vulnerable populations. We maintain the highest standards for data privacy, security, and ethical use of beneficiary data — standards appropriate for the sensitive nature of social sector work.
We build lasting relationships with our customers, not transactional vendor relationships. Our customer success team invests in organizations' technology capabilities, not just their platform adoption.
